Quocirca appoints global head of advisory

Quocirca has appointed Mick Heys as global head of advisory. Mick will report to Quocirca’s CEO and chief analyst, Louella Fernandes, and lead the operational and commercial development of Quocirca’s advisory practice as the firm enters its next chapter of growth across new services, adjacent markets and international client engagement. Mick joins Quocirca after a long career at IDC, where he was vice president leading the European Future of Workplace & Imaging business and managing a multinational analyst team. With more than three decades of market analysis experience, he has served as a trusted advisor to nearly every major global print vendor. With a background rooted in high-impact alliance and product strategy, Mick’s appointment further strengthens Quocirca’s executive advisory offering. Davitt becomes HP UK&I channel director

Mark Davitt has become HP’s UK&I channel director, succeeding Neil MacDonald, who has been appointed vice president and general manager for HP’s Commercial Channel business in the US. Neil’s appointment follows more than five years leading HP's UK&I Channel organisation, where he helped strengthen partner relationships, drive commercial performance and advance initiatives such as HP Amplify. Mark steps into the UK&I channel director role with more than 25 years of technology industry experience, including 13 years at HP. During that time, he has held senior positions across Commercial and Consumer channels, as well as End User, giving him a deep understanding of HP’s business across

PC & Attach, Print, Supplies, Managed Services and Contractual Services. For the past five years, Mark has led HP UK&I Retail Channel, where he drove premium growth, strengthened key retailer partnerships and delivered several notable milestones, including the launch of HP's Omni branding and the achievement of world-leading Tank share. “I am delighted to be taking on the role of UK&I channel sales director at such an exciting time for our business and our partners,” said Mark. “The channel remains central to HP's success, and I look forward to building on the strong relationships we have across the market, supporting our partners' growth ambitions, and continuing to deliver value for customers together.” n
