In either case, a PoS system will sit at the heart of purchases and either offer customers physical printed receipts, or they will drive organisation and logistics operations within e-commerce distribution centres. In both cases, operations and reliable and accurate printers will be required to support these operations, and provide receipts and labels for customers or e-commerce logistics teams in warehouses.

Konica Minolta UK appoints new CFO

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd has appointed Suzie Thorogood as chief financial officer. Bringing a wealth of financial and leadership expertise and experience to the role, Suzie joins Konica Minolta as it celebrates its 150th anniversary globally and 50 years in the UK. “I am delighted to be joining the Konica Minolta senior leadership team at this exciting juncture,” said Suzie. “Following the business’s significant transformation over the last three years in response to broader global changes, I am excited to be taking on the role of chief financial officer during this next phase of growth and change.” Along with Konica Minolta’s heritage and position as an innovative technology provider, Suzie was attracted to the role due to the company’s employee value proposition, which balances productivity and customer service with choice-based working and achieving the optimum employee work/life harmony. “From my first interaction with Konica Minolta I was impressed that they were not only interested in my professional experience
