Fujifilm appoints Wide Format sales support for Italy

Fujifilm has appointed Gianluca Airaghi as sales support for the Wide Format division in Italy. Gianluca brings more than 30 years of industry experience and joins Fujifilm as the company continues to expand its presence in the Italian market for wide format printing technologies. Gianluca’s role will involve working closely with customers to ensure they have access to the latest technologies and support needed to succeed in a competitive landscape. With a rich history of roles at leading companies in the digital printing sector, such as Scitex Vision Italy as sales director, HP as sales manager sign & display, Elitron and Liyu Italia, Gianluca has consistently demonstrated an exceptional ability to drive sales and deliver customer-centric solutions. His expertise spans various segments of industrial printing, from flatbed and hybrid systems to roll-to-roll technologies, making him a valuable addition to Fujifilm’s team.

Xerox announces CFO Xavier Heiss to retire in 2025

Xerox has announced that after more than 30 years with the company, chief financial officer Xavier Heiss has decided to retire, effective February 1, 2025. “Xavier has been a driving force behind many of the transformative initiatives that have reshaped our company, leading us through critical phases of Reinvention and setting us on a path of sustainable growth,” said Steve Bandrowczak, chief executive officer at Xerox. “I want to express my deepest gratitude to Xavier for his exceptional service to Xerox over the past three decades, and I wish him well in retirement next year.” Mirlanda Gecaj, vice president and chief accounting officer at Xerox, will succeed Xavier. Mirlanda joined the company in 2022 and has leveraged her extensive experience in accounting, finance, internal audit and shared services to enhance Xerox’s financial operations and reporting over the past three years. Steve added: “I’m proud to welcome Mirlanda as our new CFO, a decision that reflects the strength of our talent pool and the effectiveness of our succession planning. She is the ideal leader to step into this crucial role and will continue to help evolve our

culture, achieve our financial goals, and drive success for our clients.” Mirlanda's record of leading business transformation strategy across global technology companies, including PricewaterhouseCoopers and Element Solutions Inc. Her career has largely focused on innovation and efficiency, enabling businesses to reconstruct processes and technology while incorporating new ways of working with improved speed and agility. During her tenure at Xerox, Mirlanda has been mentored by Xavier and worked to implement financial process standardisation and automation resulting in significant cost savings and improved outcomes. “I am honoured to step into the role of CFO at such a pivotal time for Xerox,” said Mirlanda. “As a senior leadership team member, I’ve been deeply involved in driving the company’s Reinvention, operational simplification and strategic repositioning efforts.
