Canon appoints new president and CEO for EMEA

Canon EMEA has appointed Shinichi ‘Sam’ Yoshida as president & CEO for Canon EMEA, succeeding Yuichi Ishizuka, who is retiring after seven years in the role and a 44-year career with Canon. Sam was previously based in the USA where he was executive vice president and general manager of the Marketing Strategy Unit, chairman and CEO of Canon Solutions America, Inc. and Canon Financial Services, Inc. He will assume his new responsibilities as president & CEO

core businesses while capitalising on the brand’s reputation for imaging and printing technology and solutions expertise to expand into new areas such as B2B imaging, industrial and commercial printing and information management solutions. Faiers moves up at Konica Minolta

During his tenure as CTO, Mike led a team that helped to consolidate Konica Minolta's reputation as a supplier of innovative digital technologies that are transforming operations in SMB office environments as well as professional print rooms. In his new role, Mike will build on his time spent working across every facet of the business to optimise operations including service and support, logistics and the wider supply chain. Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd has appointed Mike Faiers as chief operations officer (COO). Mike joined Konica Minolta in 2021 as chief technology officer (CTO) to drive innovation and deliver solutions.
