The handheld scanner category has three top brands dominating the UK market – Zebra, Honeywell and Datalogic – but nonetheless smaller brands are experiencing double the search growth (28% compared to the 14% search growth that the top 3 brands experienced for the same period YoY). Interestingly, handheld scanner stock held for the smaller brands has grown significantly compared to the same period in 2023, whereas the larger brands are seeing a stock drop for the same period, which may explain the search growth being seen in 2024 for the smaller brands.
