Fujifilm Business Innovation has launched the Revoria PC2120, which includes AI-driven automation combined with an expanded colour gamut featuring a new green toner to give professional printers even better results.
Designers in professional print businesses are used to working with RGB colour palettes on screen, but when the finished design is printed out, the colour reproduction is never quite as vivid as the image they have been working on. This is something printer manufacturers have been looking to improve and the latest launch from Fujifilm Business Innovation brings that image on screen closer than ever. Fujifilm’s Revoria Press PC2120, the new flagship model in its Revoria Press series for high-end professional printing includes a newly developed green toner, and ultra-reliable one-pass six-colour printing using CMYK plus two speciality toners. Fujifilm’s expanded speciality toner lineup now comprises seven toners – helping to cater to diverse customer needs and foster greater creative expression. This enables vivid colour reproduction, getting much closer to the RGB colour palette designers see on screen. The Revoria PC2120 was developed
as the next generation model to the established Revoria PC1120, building on its established strengths in terms of high image quality and productivity by incorporating expanded automation functions and a broader colour gamut. AI-driven automation for pre-press The Revoria PC2120 simplifies complex workflows with proprietary AI features. In pre-press, a new Substrate Profiler analyses loaded paper and automatically recommends optimal settings, reducing setup time and improving operational efficiency. The Revoria Flow™ print server uses AI to scan documents and automatically recommends the best image quality enhancements – such as sharpening text or fine lines. The AI system also detects scenes within photos or images – such as people or landscapes – and applies appropriate corrections for consistent high-quality output regardless of operator experience. During printing, even when using specialty toners, the Smart Monitoring Gate continuously detects paper colour variations and registration misalignments,
